Youth group now called “Salem Strivers”
Strive for peace with everyone, and for the holiness without which no one will see the Lord. Hebrews 12:14
After lots of conversation, the Salem Youth have decided to call themselves “Salem Strivers” taken from the theme verse Hebrews 12:14. Their desire is to grow in their discipleship of Jesus Christ, seeking after holiness which is found in Him. At the same time, they want to learn to live as disciples in this world so that others may come to know Jesus Christ. We currently have 11 individual youth that have attended, with our average attendance being 6 each week. Please continue to pray for this group and also for the leader that God is calling to take them deeper in discipleship.
STRIVER’S SCHEDULE:
We currently meet each Sunday Night at 6:30pm. On 5/12 there is no youth group so that families can spend time with Mom! We hope to complete our study of Psalm 119 before summer break.
