June 9th will be our last youth group meeting before the summer break. Pastor Jason is planning on special food for this evening as well as extra games in fact, this will be an extended evening going until 9:30pm.

ATTENTION YOUTH CHAPERONES! We especially need extra chaperones for the 9th as this will be our close of the school year party! If you can only join us for a few minutes at the beginning, we’d like to have a time of prayer together with all those who have been with us.

From Pastor Jason:
Summer break… it is not my normal practice to take a summer break from youth group. From the time I was in youth through leading a group as a youth minister, I continued a consistent schedule. However, my responsibilities and attention as a pastor are divided between many things and I find it necessary to ease up a little for my own sake. That said, Marion Salem Church is committed to our youth and finding a youth minister that will be working with students directly. Our prayer is that by summer’s end, that person will be on staff.
