- Spiritual Focus: It approaches financial giving as a spiritual discipline and act of discipleship, asking the question, “What is God calling me to do?” rather than “What does the church need to pay its bills?”
- Estimate of Giving: Members and attendees areinvited to prayerfully fill out an “Estimate of Giving” card during a designated morning worship service.
How the Program Works
- Celebration and Commitment: The service centers on celebrating what God is doing through the congregation and looking forward with anticipation to the upcoming year.
- Giving Cards: Congregants place their financial commitment cards in the offering or turn them in during a dedicated moment in the service.
- Follow-Up: Absent members are mailed information and a giving card following the service, and results (percentages of growth and overall stewardship goals) are will be shared.
